AUTOMATIC RECORDKEEPING
The result and the recipe stay together.
Every manual or scheduled run can preserve the account, strategy, symbol, status, premium, execution details, and the parameters used. That makes it possible to compare results without reconstructing the experiment from memory or maintaining a separate spreadsheet.
Performance summaries
Review recorded net premium by day, week, month, account, strategy, and symbol. Results reflect paper activity and are not verified live returns.
Reusable parameters
DTE, delta, liquidity, allocation, contract count, targets, stops, timing, and other supported settings live in consistent fields.
SCHEDULING AND DISCOVERY
Consistent work, even when you are away.
Run a workflow once, repeat it during market hours, or schedule a ranked scan. Scheduled work runs on the device where it was created. Windows requires the computer to be awake, its local service running, and its vault unlocked. Android uses native background scheduling, which can be delayed by battery, connectivity, force-stop, or manufacturer restrictions.
Strategy schedules
Choose days, times, symbols or lists, and supported strategy parameters. The same rules can be applied consistently from one run to the next.
Candidate scans
Schedule strategy-specific scans that rank potential candidates and publish timestamped lists without automatically launching a strategy.
Approval controls
Require review of each proposed paper order, or enable automatic submission to Alpaca Paper after you understand the settings and risks.
PRIVACY AND SECURITY
Your broker credentials stay on your device.
The remote OptionsWheelhouse.com website handles product access, not your decrypted broker keys. Windows protects credentials in its encrypted passphrase vault; Android protects them with Android Keystore-backed encrypted storage.
AES-256-GCM encryption
Broker API credentials are encrypted on disk. The vault passphrase is never stored.
Local application
The working app and sensitive broker connection run on your Android phone or Windows computer rather than on the public marketing website.
Optional monitoring
An optional monitoring module can send signed heartbeats and alerts for an offline service or locked vault without receiving decrypted broker credentials.

Paper trading is the point.
Options Wheelhouse currently submits orders only to Alpaca Paper. It does not provide brokerage services, investment advice, or live-money order execution.

ANDROID AND WINDOWS
Choose the device that fits your routine.
The Android app uses native phone screens, Android Keystore, and WorkManager scheduling. The Windows app uses a local browser dashboard, encrypted passphrase vault, and private background service. Both provide the same core paper-trading workflow and educational material, while installation and operating-system behavior remain platform-specific.

Simulated fills, liquidity, slippage, assignment, taxes, market impact, and emotional decision-making can differ materially from live trading. A scan identifies candidates according to configured rules; it does not recommend or guarantee a successful trade.
