1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Slash TL LLC, a Texas single-member limited liability company doing business as Options Wheelhouse (“Options Wheelhouse,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information through our website, software sales, licensing, and support. It does not govern brokerages, payment processors, or other third parties.
2. Local application data
Options Wheelhouse is designed to run locally. Broker API credentials are encrypted on your device using AES-256-GCM and decrypted in server memory only while your vault is unlocked. Your vault passphrase is not stored. Local account settings, schedules, symbol lists, run history, performance records, and installed license data remain in your local application data files unless you choose to transmit them to us. We do not automatically receive this data through the current application.
3. Information we may collect
- Purchase information: name, email, billing address, product, price, tax, transaction identifier, subscription status, and limited payment metadata supplied by our processor. We do not intend to store full card numbers.
- License information: license identifier, purchased product IDs, issue and expiration dates, and delivery status.
- Support communications: your contact details, messages, and files you voluntarily provide. Remove API keys, secrets, account numbers, positions, and other sensitive financial data before sending diagnostics.
- Website data: IP address, browser/device information, referring page, and basic request/security logs collected by our hosting provider. If analytics or cookies are later added, this policy and any required consent controls must be updated before use.
4. How we use information
We use information to process orders and renewals; issue and deliver licenses; provide support; authenticate requests; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain security; comply with accounting, tax, and legal duties; and improve the Service. We do not sell personal information or use local trading data to provide personalized investment advice.
5. Legal bases
Where applicable, we process information to perform our contract with you, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, and act on consent where required. You may withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing.
6. How we disclose information
We may disclose information to payment, email, hosting, fraud-prevention, accounting, and support providers working on our behalf; to professional advisers; in a business transfer; or when required to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or investigate abuse. Providers may process data in other countries under appropriate safeguards.
7. Payment processing
Payments may be processed by Stripe or another provider. The processor collects and handles payment information under its own privacy policy and acts independently for certain processing. Our site should identify the actual processor at checkout.
8. Retention
We retain purchase and tax records for the period required by law; license records while needed to provide the product and prevent fraud; support records for up to 24 months after the support matter closes; and ordinary server logs for up to 90 days, unless a longer period is reasonably needed for security, fraud prevention, disputes, or legal compliance. Local application data remains on your device until you delete it. Backup copies may persist temporarily.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for device security, software updates, network controls, backups, and protecting your vault passphrase and broker credentials. Never email secrets to us.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection; withdraw consent; or appeal a privacy decision. You may also have the right to complain to a regulator. To submit a request, email privacy@optionswheelhouse.com. We may verify your identity before responding.
11. Cookies and signals
The static marketing site does not need advertising cookies. Essential hosting or checkout technologies may be used for security and transaction completion. Because no universal standard is currently implemented for browser “Do Not Track” signals, the site may not respond to them; we will honor legally required opt-out signals where applicable.
12. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.
13. Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will post the revised date. Questions or requests may be sent to:
